Lori Patch
Growing up in a family of accountants, Lori knew she needed to do something besides counting beans. With her marketing degree in hand, she began her career in Portland with the Portland/Oregon Visitors Association, Northwest Design & Living Magazine and then with Knoll and Company Advertising where she managed accounts ranging from Willamette Industries to Steinfeld’s Pickles and Metro Recycling.
In 1996, she and her husband made the move to Bend, where she spent several years at RalstonGroup managing projects for the SAFECO Insurance FireFree Program, Bend Cable and Infinuim Software as account executive and production manager. In 1997, the “Cable Guy – On-time Guarantee” campaign she managed for Bend Cable won Best in Show at the Drake Awards, as well as a National Cable Television Association award. In 2000, she was recruited to an internationally award-winning greeting card company as marketing director and production manager, where she held the responsibility of production supervision and quality control for over 1,000 product SKUs and four product line catalogs. She also managed the company’s largest custom card projects for clients, including Goodyear and International Truck & Engine Corporation.
In 2004, Lori joined GlasWeld, a manufacturer of glass repair systems with global distribution, as marketing director. There she managed the re-branding efforts of this 25-year old company, bringing their image in line with management’s vision of being an innovative leader within the glass industry.
In addition to their two Labrador Retrievers, Lori and her husband welcomed a daughter in 2005 and have been spinning plates in their three ring circus ever since. When she does escape for some free time, Lori can be found shredding the slopes of Mt. Bachelor, floating the Deschutes with fly rod in hand, or spending time with the family on the Madison River in Montana.
