Newport Ave. Market's e-newsletter, "the foodie flash", has proven to be an inexpensive marketing tool that provides one-on-one
personal communication to more than 1,000 loyal customers monthly (and that
number is still growing). It has turned out to be a marketing
strategy that is delivering high returns - returns that surpass any
industry standard. Some specific results
include:
- Increase
from 1st flash of the year to October 12, 2007- 105.8%
- Over the last year, unique user
visits to the website jumps an average of 190.49% after each Foodie Flash
is sent.
- The
biggest subscriber increase was from a promotional event in December of
2006 in which Newport Ave. Market celebrated its 30-year anniversary. From
that event to the first flash of 2007 recipients increased by 153.37% in 2
