


We’ve
enjoyed a 10-year relationship with Rohrer Manufacturing. And, in that history, we’ve developed a great
success story. Rohrer Manufacturing
began in Central Oregon with an idea to help
lessen the burden (and aching backs) when driving poles for fences. The product
was designed and created in the home of Dan Rohrer. When
the company came to Every Idea, it had a product it needed to sell. It lacked
any formal sales force or marketing material.
Seeing the potential in this unique application, we worked with Rohrer
Manufacturing to develop a simple, efficient sales process – an e-commerce site
that customers could learn about and buy product. In addition, Every Idea, identified the key
vertical markets this product would most appeal to and created a very
straightforward ad campaign that focused on ranch owners, government and
private agencies for highway maintenance, and the agricultural trade. Because the product sold itself and the
audience was a “no frills” kind of group, we focused on the product’s
easy-to-use nature and reflected that in the design of every ad. For the past ten years, we’ve incorporated TV
and print advertising, tradeshow support, and online marketing. In addition, we utilized public relations to
introduce new product lines as Rohrer Manufacturing expanded.
Results
Rohrer
Manufacturing has experienced constant growth every year since our involvement. Rohrer still has no formal sales force and almost
all leads are generated through advertising or current customers. And, here’s a
lesson to those who bargain. Rohrer
Manufacturing set their highest sales goal - selling at least 1,000 units in one year. Every Idea has helped them exceed that goal consistently for several years.
